Jon Maddox currently builds web applications to pay his bills. His bills grow logarithmically due to his ridiculous interest in gadgets and making them do things they were not necessarily designed to do.
He shares his life in Richmond, Va with his lovely wife, two cats, and a shitzu.
His passions include new media, distribution of that media, the friggen right to do whatever the hell he wants with that media, and telling people about it.
He spends an inane amount of time on personal projects that seem to only amuse himself and an average of 10 people online. But that's good enough for him to keep them coming.
He uses an Apple computer, because nothing else is worth spending 15 hours a day behind.
His domain name came from an old joke from high school. He was always told to write a book and call it "Jon's Thoughts On Everything.". The printed word bores Jon, so he started this site in 2001. He's not so sure the old joke was a friendly one.
If there were a point to this site, it would be to inform people of technology that will ease their lives and make them more enjoyable, not more chaotic. But there is no point to this site.
Jon spells his name without an H. His name is not Jonathan, he's Jon without an H.
